Vaastu Shastra (or just Vaastu) evolved during Vedic times in India. Vaastu, also
known as the Indian geomancy science, is the most authentic art of architecture
which beautifully blends astrology and science together. It helps in making a congenial
dwelling place working in a scientific way in order to take the advantage of the
benefits bestowed by the nature. It works by balancing one’s environment in accordance
with the natural laws inherent in the universe and guides one to create spaces and
environments that support material and spiritual health and prosperity.
Vaastu, which literally means “to live”, works on the principle that the earth is
a living organism from which other living organisms emerge. Vaastu Shastra works

within the premise. Vaastu Shastra makes use of the five elements -prithvi (earth),
