Physiognomy is the assessment and interpretation of a person’s predominant character
or personality from outer appearance, especially the face. It also refers to relatively
unchanging facial features that might convey messages about any inner or hidden
aspect of the native. These features include different marks and signs on the native’s
body and shapes and positions of the major features.
Landmarks of the face such as forehead, eyebrows, nose, cheeks, mouth, skin texture
and colour, hair placement and texture, and detailed shapes of fleshy features change
slowly and relatively little over time; and they are the sign vehicles for physiognomic
messages. Proposing an association between these facial features and other aspects
of the person including personality, character, outcomes of medical treatment, romantic
compatibility, or the destiny of a person, is the physiognomic approach.
Prof. Prem studies the characteristics of a person through outer appearance and
different marks and signs on the body like lines and bumps on the forehead, moles,
warts and birth marks for a detailed analysis of a person’s personality including
energy level, emotional states, loyalty, thinking patterns, goal orientation, levels
of deceit, signs of depression and impatience, among other significant traits. Such
an analysis is crucial and incorporated by various organisations and companies in
selection of upper- mid level management to top management at the stage of an interview,
as it gives an insight into the hidden shades of the contenders.
A small mole, wart or other relatively unnoticeable mark may bring with it luck
or imperfection and misfortune. Practical examples which Prof. Prem himself has
manoeuvred in this regard include removal of inauspicious moles or marks bringing
in fortune and good luck. Earnest physiognomic approach is proved to be quite effective
in steering clear of bad luck, infamy, unfulfilled physical pleasures and other
personal and financial issues.
